Overall pretty reliable after my multiple airmatic failures were eventually resolved. Couple of rattles from speaker grills front and back, but its been there since the early 20s thousand mileage. A few brand new 2018 Es I drove recently had that too so I gave up bothering the dealer to fix.

From what I have learnt from my re-search on these cars,2009-early 2011 are plagued by head bolt issues so be careful on that. There are web sites where you can put the Vin numbers and see if it's in the effected range or not.

Head bolts were updated in 2010 for the 2011 production run, so that's your safest bet to avoid the head bolt issue. However ...owning a pre-head bolt update car does not ensure that the head bolts will fail. My 2011 has 86k miles on it and still running hard! I love this motor, and the car!

My panoramic roof shade has failed twice in two years and that is with very little use(maybe once a month). Each time the cost of repair was about $1000.00 U.S. Otherwise the car has been good, now with 71,000 miles. Uses about one quart of oil every 2500 miles which is better than average.
