E63 AMG Wagon year differences - 2014 - 2016
I am looking at purchasing a E63 AMG Wagon and wanted to see if you guys knew if there was a place to find out what differences there were between the years of 2014 - 2016? I cant find much on the web for comparisons other than noting that early 2014's still used a key to start the car while later 2014 and beyond had the push button. I am coming from an Audi S4 Avant and the E63 feels like so much more car. I am not too worried about crazy options but would like to know if it is worth buying the 2016 versus the 2015 or 2014.

Cant help you too much on the differences 2014 - 2016 sorry. But can point out based on my recent (quite long) search for a W212 E63 sedan that you will find 2016 models, and even 2015 ones, very hard to come by. With the W213 imminent most looking for an E63 in late 2015 and 2016 must have decided to hold out for the new model and I believe sales of 2016 sedans were minimal, and presumably the same for the wagons.

I just bought a 2015 E63S wagon and from what I can tell the 2015 and 14 are almost identical. 2015 does have power folding mirrors and the 14 doesn't. Some later production 15s have a slightly updated infotainment system, however I am going to do this conversion, https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...android-7.html, which looks fantastic.

The 2016 after February (if I remember correctly) has a slightly different/updated transmission and Comand 5.5. BTW I know this as I own both a 15 and a 16; when my mechanic was doing a software update he showed me different software for the different part numbers.

Only differences I'm aware of is the 15/16 has the AMG insert in the front grille and the 16 has the updated COMAND. Didn't know about the folding mirrors, my 14 certainly doesn't have them.
