"Distronic Plus Inoperative"
Cruise Control/Distronic Plus will not work at all on my '16 E63 S right now, would an Auxiliary Battery Malfunction have anything to do with that?

Yes, when the Aux battery goes the car disables many of the 'convenience' features, distronic plus included. Your Aux battery should be covered under warranty.

Yes. The Eco Start Stop won’t be working either. It is the Auxiliary Battery that is the problem. It is not flat as such, rather the resistance gets too high for some reason and the voltage drops slightly, enough to cause all the auxiliary functions running off it to shut down. My 2015 E63 just had the issue, replaced no questions asked under warranty.
