2014 E63 AMG S model
e63 wheels
Hi i was wondering if anyone knows if the 2018 new amg wheels will fit on the 2014 e63 amg s. I like the way the newer wheels look.
I'm in the process of getting a e63 amg thru my shop that can access dealer auctions. and i'm looking to do some minor cosmetic upgrades. I'm thinking on tuning the car as well but thats later on after i enjoy the car for a bit stock.

The w213 E63s wheel specs are: 9.5Jx20 ET25 Front and 10Jx20 ET55 Rear. The front wheel should fit (according to multiple posts in the wheel thread) The rear...? I dunno about a +55. The 2014 E63s runs a +52 out back.... but I guess a 3-5mm spacers should cure that. Please don't buy a set of wheels based on my assumptions... I am simply going by the specs.

20x10 et55 will fit just fine in the rear and 295 wide will be a great sized tire. I am currently running 19x10 et55. Fit was great but with 285 wide tires I chose to go with a 10mm spacer and ended up with a et40 (more flush). I did the spacer because I was running 295/30/19 Pole Positions in the rear with NO spacers, Continental Extreme Contact replacements at the time did not have a 295 wide tire so I had to step down to stock size
Both fit with no rubbing.

I have not done the math on the front but I can add to the rear.

When people switch to 20" wheels, they usually use 285/25/20 which is 571.25mm total height, even a 295/25/20 will result in 573.75mm total height. Seems the car tolerates that without much issue.
The problem I see now is when you use 2018 OEM wheel and tire setup (which should fit fine BTW). Will the car tolerate an additional 28mm (over an inch increase in total height) over stock???
All the above calculations can be used on the front for similar findings as well.
And if you use the lower profile tire sizes, will the stock wheel be able to handle the bumps along the road and not bend like pretzels?
