2016 E63 Vehicle Level control for nose clearance?
I'm considering buying a 2016 E63 AMG 4matic and I was wondering if anyone who owns that year model can tell me if it has the ability to raise the suspension (via button or menu). My driveway has a steep entry rise and I can't get my SL63 in or out without scraping the nose unless I use the Vehicle Level menu control, and though I know the E63 has a different profile it would make me feel a lot better knowing it has the same capability. The online manuals seem to be pretty useless for looking this stuff up and searching mostly gets me discussions about mods for aesthetics or dynamic suspension operation vs simple low-speed terrain clearance (generally not a huge topic for this kind of vehicle). I've had a dealer tell me it doesn't have the feature, but then one told me the same thing about my SL63, so I'm a bit skeptical (the feature is now on the menu under DriverAssist vs the button they used years ago on my old SL550). Thanks to anyone who can answer.

The e63 runs on a spring/shock front set up so it will not raise. The rear goes up and down slightly depending on drive mode due to air suspension in the rear

Bummer. Now I have to go find out what the lowest part of the front end is and how far forward of the front wheel centerline that point is to be sure I'm going up the driveway ramp before that hits... Thanks for the quick response.

Have you tried to change the entry angle by flattening the curb? At my old house my M5 would always bottom out unless I was perfect in/out of the driveway. I put some 1 1/2 inch thick landscape blocks on the curb to essentially change the angle and flatten out the curb so from the street to the driveway it became a ramp vs a bump. Good luck!

Unfortunately the minimum point on the approach where the tires are when the nose is going to hit the slope is a point that would block clear drainage for a section of the street if you dropped something there (I demonstrated a 2x6 laid flat there could have gotten my SL63 in even without the lifts). A very small 'bridge' at that point (even something like a power cord or air hose floor race) would probably do the trick, but I'm pretty sure the community association won't buy off on something on the street. Ramp slope is forced by the crossing sidewalk that isn't very mobile either... and it's hard to run a concrete saw discretely in the dead of night.
I've got some basic measurements that tell me the lowest point on the E63 nose dam is about 1.5" lower than an E400 that I know only clears by 3/4". Still have to find out how far forward of the wheel centerline the low point is... Would still be a whole lot easier if the seller was in-town so I could just ease it up and see if it was going to work....
