whats the Oil temperature suppose to be in a E63 AMG with the 6.3 engine cause i was moved my car today after been parked for a coupe of days and it reached 231 and i started to drive around move and faster to see if it kept going up and it got 238 and then started going down

So just starting the car and moving it a little from being parked for two days causes the oil temp to get to 238? Something ain't right

I started it up and let it warm up for like 40 min and it was it 220 so I decided to drive to see if it would go down but it went up, I stop and check to see if the fans were working and they will blowing air fine but I’m concern it went up so much

thats a bit higher than would be expected in 70 degrees but it was just running for 40 minutes not moving and no air flowing through it other than the fans

so long as it comes down during routine operations you're ok and these 6.3 and 5.5tt engines run hot

what’s the highest it can reach like what’s the safe range in those engines?
