E63s vs. S63s
Extremely happy with my 2015 E63s. Saw a CPO 2016 S63s at the dealer. Worth the "upgrade"? Appreciate any thoughts on difference in driving experience, reliability (vs. the E63s), etc.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Not worth it
unless you want more luxury and creature comforts and are ok with a slower performing car that doesn't handle as well

Interesting thread. Ever since I test drove one I slowed down on mods thinking to upgrade to S63 in a year or so.
Didnt get to push it on the test drive of course, but the car is something else. Interior alone is wow.

And you thought E class issues out of warranty are bad... the S class is worse

And The new E63S W213 interior is a Louis Vuitton purse with a nerd haven of gadgets and tailored to those who need the technology the nerd-herd instead of just a car. Besides looking like a pussified, smaller version of an S.

As with all Mercedes, you don't want to own one without warrant.
To be honest, I think the S63 is more comparable to the W213 E63s than the W212 E63. Hope this helps.

In the good ole united states of america, this is what we call a limo:
In Germany, this is what they call a limo:
This is a video of a E63s vs. S63:
With all that luxury packed into the S63, I can live with it being a "little" slower than the W213 E63s stock.
It is not everyone's cup of tea for sure, but it is far from like driving a limo.
If I wanted a fast fast car, I would of gotten a Lambo or Ferrari and call it a sports car. This IMHO.
Is the S class a big car, yes it is and that is why a kid can actually sit on the back seat floor mats while the back seat passenger can be in a comfortable and recline position.
