Suggestions For Brake Pads With Less Brake Dust

I put on Girodisc Magic Pads 3 weeks ago, along with their 2 piece front rotors. No noise, and minimal dust. After 3 weeks my rear wheels were obviously black (stock pads, will replace in a few months) and the fronts looked like they were almost just cleaned. I had to touch the wheels to see the minimal brake dust.
Great pad, like I said no noise. The initial bite is good and they feel great. I've done a few hard stops for extra extra legal speeds and felt no fade or issues. Highly recommend them!

I'll chime in too since I've been dealing with brake squeal for the past couple of months - blew the load on Rado for less dust, but have been dealing w/ bad squeal issues ever since. Have had the wheels off 3 times now to try anti-squeal pastes (Febi, Ate), sprays (Permatex, Wurth), and even Wurth Brake Finishing Treatment aka SBS II stuff which you spray onto the disc/rotor. Although I get some temporary results, the squeal comes back.
Seems the low dust vs.squeal equation cannot overcome braking physics. Too bad I spent $$$ to find out for myself.

My theory is that Rado pads w/ GiroDisc rotors in the REAR may cause squealing issues on W212 E63s, because 1) they don't get clamped down hard enough to avoid vibrating and 2) the pad retaining springs fit tighter on OEM pads than on the Rados, so no chance for vibration there. It also helps that OEM pads have weights attached to their outer corners to dampen any vibration/squeal. Keep in mind that all my squeal was coming at low-speed braking, while coming to a stop.
Still LOVE the Rado front pads!!

I might be looking at replacement as well but for the '14 E63S nothing is listed . . .

sorry to rez a sorta dead thread but I have a 2016 wagon and im having a hard time finding anything that's decent from companies I know. any suggestions on where everyone is getting there pads from? also as a side note, does anyone know if the 2014 or 15 pads will fit a 16? tirerack shows 0 pads for my model year but you put 15 and they have a decent list. id prefer to go akebono but I am definitely open to suggestions. ive called all the local shops here in sacramento and they all seem to carry cheap brands or oem pads. im trying to avoid those because im trying not take a shower every time I stop the car, that brake dust is horrendous.

I did my brakes over the summer. I was also looking for a low dust pad. I looked for akebono's since i had them on the E55 and they were great. Virtually no dust or same color dust as the wheel so it was not noticeable. I could only find them for the front on the E63 so I did not get them. I did not want EBC red stuff because they seemed a bit aggressive for my driving from what I read. I went with EBC yellow. When I was putting them on I read all of the info that came with them and it stated they were "High Dust" brake pads. I had not seen this in any of my reading online, I am sure I missed it somewhere. I still installed them as I had them for all four corners at this point. The good news is they are great brake pads. The bad news is they are as dusty as the oem pads if not more dusty. I am amazed at how dusty. So I still suffer with the every day dust issues on the oem wheels...makes me want to install black wheels...maybe soon?

I've had the EBC reds on the front for a while - probably well over a year. There maybe a little less dust, but there is still a good bit. When I swapped my winter tires over I noticed that they have worn 50% or more and look to be wearing more toward the center than the outside. Probably not getting much more milage out of these than stock.

Hi Members,
I know there are threads on this topic but I want some feedbacks on what Brake pads you are using that produces less brake dust without sacrificing the performance. I love the OEM ones but just far too much dust to clean every few days.
Please provide your feedback and part# if you have it. Thanks
