Reliability!!
Hey everyone, I'm currently on the hunt for a 14'+ E63S or CLS63S. A close relative of mine has a 14' CLS550-4Matic with issues left and right at only 38k miles. The car was bought CPO and the CPO Warranty expires in August. I'm not impressed with what happened there and I know the standard CLS/E550 share the same 5.5 TT as the CLS/E63 AMG. So, for you owners of either car - please tell me a little about your car's reliability and how it's been during your ownership.
Link/Pics of E63 I'm looking at - https://www.mercedesbenzoftysonscorn...hf7gb0fb144913 (yes, I know there's no distronic but it's local and low mileage!!)

2014 E550, 2015 E63S, 2017 G63 - RIP
CLS/E550 have 4.7L TT engine, not 5.5TT found in E63/CLS63.
Reliability is not bad, but those cars need to be taken care of - maintenance and repairs done on time and so on.
I enjoy my car and drive it daily; no issues in two full years of ownership.
Good luck with your search!

At about 28k Miles, AC problems. The compressor or some unit the tech was talking about had been malfunctioning and it was a $700 repair. Then the front struts and bags for the suspension went out (luckily they were covered under warranty unlike the AC). And now, as the person was driving, the car started overheating and a lower radiator hose had broke causing the car to overheat. Get this, $891 for the repair and the part is only $150!! So quite a few problems for that car in a short period of time.
