Minor "popping" Sound While Turning in Parking Lots
Hey Guys,
Looks like there might be small trouble in paradise with the new 2015 I just picked up. I noticed today a slight popping sound when turning the wheels in a parking lot or pulling into a parking place. Any ideas what it might be? Something in the rack? Nothing leaking that I can see. At least it's still well within the 4 year/50k warranty.

Does it have summer tires?
if so how cold was it? Under 40F tire hop is common on the awd
its likely tire hop and very common when cold and goes away when tires warm up

Nope. Car was plenty warm and its bright and sunny here in Cali. Had just gotten off the freeway after 20 minutes when I noticed it in a parking lot. Any other ideas?

Is it popping during the excursion if the steering wheel or at the extremes of steering rotation
is it absolutely reproducible or does it happen intermittently?
cant exclude the rack/hangars/front suspension
while just rotating the steering without moving the car (ie in Park) does it make the sound?
it doesn't sound like it's the tire or embedded debris
