Vrodman - yeah the 0-60 times are very different depending on many variables especially the road surface. i live downtown chicago and have tried 0-60 runs many times on our ****ty broken up gravel streets and never gotten better than 3.7 time on 0-60 using my Dashcommand iphone app that's tethered to my ODB2 port Kiwi WIFI adapter.
with that said, i tried 0-60 runs on a remote stretch of flat clean highway interstate 74 and hit several 3.5 runs using Race Start which is in line with my stock set up.
the road conditions make a big difference....
quite stretch of Elston street to do some 0-60 race starts

After reporting that the VBOX has the 1 foot roll out, I just discovered that it has to be enabled in the VBOX menu! I just enabled it and hopefully I pick up a tenth or 2 over the weekend and get down to the 3.5 mark.
Just updating .
Cheers

Had the RennTech TCU software loaded yesterday @Axel's Automotive, Lake Bluff IL. Nick Knauz was very helpful, scheduled the upgrade and had the equipment shipped from Florida the day before. Took about 1/2 hour. The change is noticeable. Initial impressions are, improved response and much more tire spin . Yesterday was warm ( 85 ) and Race Launch was useless, spun and short shifted 1-2-3. Below are reports from a V-box like device, Dragy. 3.48 0-60 was done just before the TCU update and 3.28 0-60 done just after. Mash and go in Sport+ and traction in sport.
Thanks for keeping us posted! I’m thinking of getting the same update. Do you see any changes while driving in comfort mode?

We can work with you on finding the closest Dealer to you.
We're located in Stuart, FL just off of I-95. About 30 min north of Palm Beach on the Treasure Coast
Do you know where in FL the home base is?
Does this TCU tune allow the car to brake boost a higher rpm from a dig? Right now when I launch with traction off/Sport + mode, the highest I can get the RPM’s to is somewhere between 2,500-3,000, and that’s with my left foot hard on the brake and my right foot flooring the gas pedal. The stock tcu is totally killing the ability to launch this thing properly; the best 60 ft I can get is a 1.85 and there’s NO wheel spin. I’m trapping 123mph but can only pull 11.6-11.7’s. I’m sure it would be in the low 11’s if I could launch better

Thanks for the informative post after reading this I actually contacted Axel's automotive as they're 15 min away from me and will probably end up doing the tcu tune after I get my downpipes and ecu tune installed. Only thing is I wish you could do race start with traction control off.

Here is a list of mods:
AMS tune
Upgraded turbo's honed out inlet with larger wheel and clipped exhaust
3" pipes from the turbo's back with 200 cell cats and magna flow muffler's
AMS carbon fiber intake
Trunk tank 3 gallon capacity
All 3 heat exchangers upgraded (larger)
Speedriven installed the hardware.
I ran the car at the track with my Toyo R888's for hookup and this is what happened on the first run. I think I launched it around 1800 rpm. I was shocked to see my 60ft time under 1.6
I am contemplating purchasing the TCU tune from Renntech. The only thing that is bothering me is my mph, seems to be low.
What do you guys think?

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
What's your corrected time? What altitude are you at? Oh you're at Great Lakes that's 626ft
tune only e63S is running 11.1 @ 124 (sdg)

You basically ran what a stock or tune only car would run if it got a great launch.
Just recently I had AMS dyno tune my car. Let me just say that my car feel amazing!

Agreed. The trap speed is low for those mods (I trap 123 and only have the Racechip piggyback at a mild setting). With that track speed he’s not pulling away from a tune only car on an airstrip
