Transmission Service - 2015 E63S
Suspect this will be of interest to many of you, especially to those doing your own maintenance.
Just had my 2015 E63S in for its 3 year service at an MB dealer in Sydney Australia. The Service Booklet indicated a 3 year service would include a transmission filter and fluid change plus the diff fluid change, as had been the case on my previous AMGs. Imagine my surprise when I get the call to come and collect the car early, with the service advisor telling me that when they downloaded the list of servicing items from the MB Germany database they learned there has been a recent revision to the schedule and the transmission filter and fluid change is now due at 5 years. The service ended up costing less than half of what I had been quoted, so I get to keep both kidneys for 2 more years at least. Happy Days!!!
