How wide/big can you go?
As the title states, how wide or big can you go for rims? Ive seen the standard 19 x 9.5 or 20 x 9.5 up front. I ask because this car is running 20 x 10.5s all the way aound. I would think this would cause some rubbing issues? http://www.bcforged-na.com/project/b...mg-s-20-eh172/

I contacted BC about that car a while back, it is infact running 10.5 all around. I believe they said it had some pretty serious suspension work done, but it does not rub at all according to them.

I'm running the 19x9.5 up front and I think it looks great. Kind of upset with the websites with their half *** fitment configurators. I just couldn't imagine going to a 8.5" front width from a 9" so I went up. If this one is running 10.5" and BC placed it on their website, (assumption) I'd think that it sits alright without interference with the fender or suspension. Also aren't BCForged made to order wheels? Probably just have to order the correct offset,... which isn't mentioned in the article :-/
well if it helps, stock wheels are 19x9" et37 front and 19x9.5" et52 rear for anyone looking to experiment and push the platform :-)

I had custom wheels made and I’m confident in saying that there’s no way to fit a 10.5” wheel with 305s up front without modification.

I just did this on BCForged wheels. Stock suspension and ride height. There is slight rubbing on fender liner on occasion (can't hear it nor feel it... I see it when I have the wheels at full lock) if you are gonna be running 40 profile (Front). I am no wheel fitment guru, but I have been around the block a couple of times. It all comes down to how much you are willing to stretch your tire and how much camber you'd wanna run. If you want a meaty tire up front, what I am running is pretty much the limit: 275/40 on a 9.5 wide wheel offset +32. As for the rear, 10.5 wrapped in 305/35 offset +49 still leaves a bit of room to play on the table (I would say one could run a 11 with a 295 and push the offset to a 45... but that wouldn't be meaty).

Oh! I just remembered I had ran into this during my wheel search... since you are asking how wide and big you can go... honestly, I dunno what sorta witchcraft you gotta do to fit a 21x11 and still tuck: http://brixtonforged.com/matte-red-m...carbon-bronze/

Are you sure you typed the correct wheel and tire specs? 275/40R19 and 305/35R19 are way too tall for the W212 chassis. Maybe I missed something and you have 18" wheels and tires? Please confirm and post pics of your set-up. Thanks
