Thinking of getting back into E63
I sold my lunar blue 2016 E63S wagon last year (I think a member here might have bought it from the dealer I sold it to). I am thinking of getting back into one. I found this one near my place. Almost afraid to go look at it which may lead to an impulse buy (it's an illness, says my wife).

It's priced high IMO, and it's not mercedes certified. Otherwise it looks pretty clean. Carfax doesn't show any oil change but maybe he did his own oil changes (unlikely).
What are your thoughts on this one? I'm looking for a car I can keep for at least 5 years (it's been a struggle).

Not being a CPO would be a deal-breaker for me. I'd want the extension on the manufacturer's warranty plus the option to purchase an additional ELW.

Interesting. I was in on that wagon and then punted because the rear right taillight wasn’t lining up with the liftgate taillight. Even more interesting was that accident didn’t show up on carfax. Not a huge surprise that carfax was missing the accident, but I’d take this clean carfax with a grain of salt.
IMO, if they’re not certifying it, something is wrong with that car. I’d ask why not cpo and then ask if they’d cpo it for you, even at an increased price. Or, get a thorough, independent PPI.

But you can ask them to CPO it for you, any dealer can CPO any MB if they really, really want to. (within some boundaries of course - this car is within those on year and mileage).
Feel free to IM me and I can share some details. Not around this specific car but the situation in general.

Like Goodmaj I almost bought your 16 from Chambers but missed it and got another one last summer. Mine is now for sale as well, also a '16, 22k miles, obsidian / Black, every option (incl CCBs) and CPO + two years prepaid maintenance ( need to check if the latter is transferable. PM me if interested.
