Talking W212 M156 - Road trip with exhaust work

Hey guys, I didn't find anything really touching on this so I thought I would ask. I want to do some exhaust work to wake my E63 up but I don't want to hear drone for a couple long road trips coming up. Can anyone touch on this?

I was thinking of just doing a secondary cat delete but am open to suggestions.

If I get some good replies Ill post a DIY wheel bearing replacement.haha

I went on multiple 5-7hr road trips with my friends E63 with the M156 6.2L engine that had a center resonator delete and replaced with straight pipe to mufflers. Crazy sound past 4k rpm, quiet with no drone at highways speeds (100~140kph). Quiet and no droning was in comparison to a stock '17 wrx.
