One of the best mods I performed on my F150...definitely works as advertised with no issues

More advanced and programmable than sprintbooster -- I have SB in e63S and am a huge fan

get it from shardul and don't look back

+1 for the Sprint Booster.
Don't leave home without it.

Thanks for your feedback guys. Anyone happen to know the difference ( pros and cons ) between the 2. Do you just remove it before go in for service ? Thanks again.

The SB has disconnecting programming/controller wire so I leave it for service but you can take ten minutes and remove it; unless they go looking for it they'll never know or care it's there

pedal commander has more than the three sensitivity options ... has about fifteen

Pedal commander has 4x9=36 different settings :)

I recently looked into it at length and couldn’t find any difference beyond the controller or the number of settings. The SB has a smaller controller. I doubt anyone would find the number of settings a problem with either. Ultimately I decided to put the money towards a tune instead.

Tunes are great too, but it's like comparing apples and oranges.
For ultimate performance you need to do both.

right ...the pedal sensitivity should have been an oem option in the menu system

a tune won't do what a $250 SB will do

apples and oranges is right; the SB doesn't give you better 0-60, 60ft, or 1/4 mike ... it's about better stoplight to stoplight driveabiity

after countless threads on this very discussion it always comes down to -- just try it and return it if you don't like it

The SB and pedal command are to help with the lag from a dead stop whereas the tune is when that lag drops and the car launch from there.

In a few different threads I came across owners of SB or PC that found them unnecessary after a tune and were selling them. I did find the odd one who kept it after getting a tune. My understanding is that most tunes can adjust the throttle response (which is all these things are doing anyway). I guess my suggestion would be if you ultimately want a tune, get that first and if that’s not enough on its own, get the SB or PC in addition. If you have no plans for a tune or see that way down the road, get a SB or PC as an economical way to get more response.

As someone pointed out, both offer a money back return policy that makes it pretty easy.
