Highest mile
i know that MB and AMG in general get a black eyes for not being very reliable vehicle as of late. My 07 R63 AMG was 155k miles and still terrorized the street until an ice storm ate it. My current 2012 E63AMG wagon is rocking 135k miles and still drive like the day I bought it (70k miles). And I can’t find anything to replace it so I may have to keep it a while. With proper maintenance these AMG can be very reliable. With that said, how many miles on your AMG Beast? Any “major” break down?
2012 CLS63 just hit 100k i bought it at 40kmiles so far ive replaced
rear shocks
air spings
starter (went out at 60k miles i blame the eco mode which I no longer use)
cam sensors
everything else is just maintenance. the air springs is debatably just maintenance too but i want people to know these cars seem very solid the car has never overheated on me either and I am running a tune and i do a lot of spirited driving and I pretty much daily the car
you just need an arnott air spring and the install is relatively easy and if you don’t do it yourself it shouldn’t cost much at an indie shop either I’m not sure what they charged you

List of issues:
Rear door lock actuator failed - repaired myself - pain in the ***. Part and tools cost me around $200.
Windshield fluid reservoir cover popped off - major pain in the *** to get the whole assembly out, figure out why it's leaking and put the cover back in correctly. Just labor time.
Multi contour seat right side died at 40K miles - I never use it and it's insanely expensive to replace so I just left it.
Rear air springs leaking - about to replace them in a week or so.. around 500.. if things go well...
Fuel pump check valve quick working - causes fuel pressure to drop when car not on, and a long crank. Haven't replaced the pump yet.. but I just hit the ignition on, then crank the car as a workaround. Not sure I want to get in the tank right now. Maybe in the summer time... I'm also not sure if the check valve is on one, or two pumps. Mercedes said replace both.... if anyone knows.. that would be helpful.

changed 2 suspension and regular oil, filter, brakes, tires, dynamic seats air pump (cost about $400) that's it.
reliable car and every function is working perfectly till today.
i'll be getting new G63 2019 edition 1 (already booked), or AMG GT63S if I didn't like the G63 in a month or so.

That's a good amount of km's on such a car!
Original transmission? How often did you change the transmission oil/filter??
