M157 CEL HELP

The time has come, I got a CEL on my 2012 with 101k miles on the clock

codes are

P0017
P0018

i have changed crankshaft position sensors with updated part numbers long prior

also the only symptom is an occasional hesitation when starting it’ll crank longer than normal and then start

ive cleaved the Plug’s and ecu connectors and haven’t seen any oil

does anyone know what I could be dealing with before I pay for a diagnosis?

I’m hoping it’s only that. My only concern is last time I was getting codes for misfire when it was the plugs do you still think it’s a culprit for these codes?

Try using a better code reader. My iCarSoft tells you a brief description beyond the P00blabla. You can get the reader online for about $100. My guess, assuming you have no noticeable performance drop off, is something like an O2 sensor considering your mileage.

Good Luck
