2 Questions: performance and mods

Since I am new (not yet an owner) to the W212 E63s, I am curious of how the car performs when really getting on it. My 335 is very quick and pulls hard but on a much lower level. The most powerful car I have driven is my Uncle's 2010 Gallardo Spyder: AWD, 550+hp, N/A vs the turbos. I remember getting all 4 tires loose when romping on it slightly around a corner. I was IMPRESSED. Can I assume that the e63s can do the same? I am not even talking WITH a tune...a tune I am sure is another dimension. I just remember how hard it pulled in a straight line. I cannot wait to feel that in the Merc.

Also. re. mods..from my research a tune is about all that you need? I have never been into louder exhausts or pipes unless they REALLY help with power. I am sure the tune will suffice. Is there anything else (aesthetic, inside our out or performance-related that I just have to have?

Thanks in advance. I have appreciated and enjoyed everyone's advice, help and input. It seems like we're not a big group on this site but active...very cool.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
In a corner if you romp on the gas the 63S will lose all traction and violently try to correct you... if you have all the nannies off ... you'll wrap yourself around a tree ... it'll lose the back end like a traditional rwd muscle car NO PROBLEM!!!

be prepared to be impressed !

2012 E63 AMG Estate
I've been a passenger in some big muscle cars, but the E63 wagon I own is simply frightening at WOT with all the aids turned off. I love it to bits.

A BMW 335 is not anywhere close to a W212 Biturbo and a E63 tune, you wouldnt even want to race a 335. The Tq off the line with or without traction off will have you set back into your seat(s). But don’t take our word for it, test drive one and you wouldn’t want to leave the dealer without one.

My 335 has a tune and is quick but not in the same stratosphere as the e63. I cannot wait to get one.

My wife has an M4. Very quick car. But it’s NOTHING compared to my CLS. Even without a tune...and at the end of the lifecycle of the plugs...it’s an absolute monster. And, with mine being RWD...it demands your respect.

the other thing is that the E is a larger car significantly than the 3 series so it'll feel even more different with that brutal power
