Dashcommand (Torque) App discrepancy

I noticed that my OBD2 DashCommand (same as Torque) app usually shows my coolant temp as approximately 20 degrees F higher than what it says on the dash. My dash usually shows water temp around 199-200, yet the app is always around 220*F. How could this be? I ask because 220 is a bit high i think... 199 makes more sense considering the cold weather now a days, but i am confused by the disrepancy

same with my dash command app. Been using it for 3-4 years now and my coolant temps are reading similar to yours (higher). Not sure why.

I also have never figured out how to get an accurate HP reading from it with the m157 /4matic. It always reads much higher than true 577 HP stock. On my c32 (RWD / superhardlged) the HP readings were pretty close to what dyno showed.

That’s very interesting to hear. Are you also reading around 220F on the app meanwhile the dash is around 200F?
