Regular E63 vs E63 S, Worth it?
Hello E63 people,
I'm currently in the market for a facelift w212 E63, I found that they don't seem to have that much difference in terms of performance, and the S models are often priced near ten thousands CAD more than the regular E63. Anyone has an opinion on it? Thanks in advance!
""Mercedes still offered an optional AMG "S" Performance Package, which adds 27 bhp in power for a total of 585 PS (577 bhp; 430 kW) at 5500 rpm and 800 N⋅m (590 lbf⋅ft) at 1750-5000 rpm and delimits the car's top speed to 186 mph. With the optional AMG "S" Performance Package, the car can do 0–60 mph in 3.5 seconds; vehicles without the package takes an additional 0.1 seconds." -Wiki

it has several interior and exterior cosmetic differences
It has IDENTICAL engine with tuning that makes more power
brake calipers are red
many NON S cars were used by rental companies so beware. Hertz, enterprise, etc

I believe the NON S also might not have the extra small cooler on the drivers side. I have it written in my notes at home, so dont quote me 100%.
This cooler on the driver side is suppose to be an additional coolant engine cooler.
