Does anyone make them in CF? AMS makes the whole intake system in CF but costs $4k (lol), it would be nice to have just the tubes and pieces the mount to the front in CF.
Carbon fiber in the engine bay does not last and turns yellow overtime from the engines heat . Why don’t people buy this and get it hydro dipped for a fraction of the cost . Carbon fiber in these dress up pipes will cost north of 5/600 dollars if they were available. #benztax

Not necessarily. I had CF intake tubes on my M5 F10 (TT) and it got just as hot under the hood...tubes never discolored and gloss finish was still intact after 4 years (about 40,000 miles).

maybe all the discolored carbon Iv seen in engine bays had some cheap clear coat applied then. I would assume a thick layer would need to be sprayed for them to last I guess .
I think with better quality CF it wouldn't change in colour. My AMG CF engine cover still looks like new. No colour change or anything so I think it should work.
These have been super popular for us, so obviously people value the esthetic change, Also they will never rip on you.
If there were "Plenty" of carbon fiber companies willing to make custom tubes we wouldve already done it. Minimum order quantities are very large, But we just put the order in.
