P1ce7 code M157

CEL on and had this P1ce7 code come up.

Anyone had this problem before and know what the issue/solution is?

Thanks in advance

Running the track the last few times has yielded odd results, esp the trap speeds.
Sometimes the car feels like it's choking up top and other runs would be fine!

Opened the hood up, looked at the air intake inlet only to find out that the driver's side was ripped.
Dunno if that would cause the car to choke up top!

The CEL was on for two hours and went away!

Ordered the part and will see if the code comes on again after I replace both sides.

Thank you! I did look at that thread when I did the search.

Checked all connections and seals again. All good!

Grabbing the new intake inlets today and I'll go from there!

@Iron Sheik Did you fix your problem? I just had the p1ce7 come up on my m157. The dealership blamed the @shardul (UPD) air intake, said it wasn't sealed well. I don't know whether to believe them or not.

Yup!! That was the issue with me too. Wasn't sealed well enough. So the dealer is right.

Did you fix yours to get it sealing better, or what did you end up doing?

My guy tightened the bolts as one wasn't fully tightened.

All good now.

He did a leak test as well to be on the safe side and everything was perfectly fine.

Okay, thanks, so sounds like possibly an installation issue vs. a hardware issue. I had my car smoke-tested a few months back, and there weren't any leaks then, but the problem just cropped up.
