So pleased with my down/midpipes with the HJS cats. The quality is outstanding as is fitment. They sound terrific. I feel the turbos spooling quicker which are also more audible under boost. Very happy customer.

Didn't do a dyno but I just installed downpipes with high flow cats on my M157 & haven't updated my tune yet, still running the stage 1 file. With this mod alone (without doing a reflash), throttle response has improved, turbo lag is minimal & the turbo whistle is much more pronounced. The added power is definitely there, I can't believe I waited 2 years before doing downpipes.
Also, anyone wanting to go with downpipes but can't stand the smell, definitely go for the high flow cats. Even with just 200 cell HFC, the exhaust smell is eliminated by like 80%. At redlights with windows down, the smell is not even there.

It is because these downpipes by themselves yield insignificant power increase. There is not much to write home about. This DP upgrade has the following value:
- Stepping stone for further engine upgrades
- Aesthetics (looks, sound, smell)
- Temperature reduction in the engine bay when shielded
- 30+ HP increase
I'm running 750+whp on a completely stock exhaust, btw, so I'm not sure if your #1 should be in that spot
