rear bodywork made to look "brabus-like", mismatching tires (bridgestone potenza, continental), normal looking high wear places, blacked out.

Off the bat. MB will NOT sell you a Extended Warranty for a car sold at auction. I learned that the hard way... not that I would have gone for that anyway, but, I do know that most people looking into an AMG will ONLY own one under warranty.

It’s got the RENNtech trunk spoiler, diffuser and exhaust tips which mean the previous owner did some kind of modification to it. I would contact RENNtech and provide them with the VIN to see if there was any performance mods like ECU or Turbo upgrade to it.
The paint does look like it needs paint correction and full detail.
If you like modding your car, it’s not a bad deal given it’s a wagon, but I would look at the VMI to see the history and maybe shed some light on why it was sold at an auction.
Warranty is a must.

been out of the market since buying my wagon. ignorance is bliss, don't care to know depreciation 
learned something new! so that's a renntech exhaust. It doesn't have the other renntech badges so it's likely a esthetic + maybe a mild tune.
The tires, maybe the dealer put them on to sell as the previous ones were bald and not legal to sell the car with them.

Maybe it needs a complete detail but a lot of the vehicle interior and exterior appears to have been treated a bit rough. Divots in the rear seat leather might imply child seats, and anyone with young kids knows how much they add years to a car. What is that box is the rear, stock or aftermarket sub? MB probably passed on buying this for their inventory for a reason.
I’d go the CPO route. MBUSA has a newer 2016 with less miles going for $64k. You could negotiate it down to $62k or less with very little effort. That might be outside your budget a smidge but financing allows “future you” to deal with that decision. Small price to pay for a better vehicle and some additional assurances that you’re getting a car that meets a fairly high bar. Sure MB can CPO any car they want, but generally speaking it’s in their best interests to only CPO a vehicle that won’t be a headache both you and them.
If it were me I would want to see engine pics and VMI to see if it’s been in for lots of repairs. Could root out a lemon.

Maybe it got rear ended and it was repaired with the aftermarket rear + e350 rear hatch.
OP - keep looking. My opinion is that this one has too much unknown/unexplainable/undisclosed history

If you are seriously considering it, have Matt with Legacy Motorsports in Houston do a pre-purchase inspection. He services a lot of the AMG guys (including my own E63 wagon) and though I got lucky with mine, I'll never not done again. This one has been listed since July also, FWIW. If I'm not mistaken this car had the Weistec package on it along with some Renntech goodies. If this the car I'm thinking about it was problematic for the previous owner. I too would suggest letting Matt at Legacy do a Pre purchase inspection.

I think people have pointed out a ton of valid red flags: mods, mismatched tires, wrong color calipers, etc. The best case scenario is that the previous owner(s) didn't take great care in modding the car and the worst case is that the car has been in accident(s) and has been patched up.
OP: I would be very careful and certainly won't pull the trigger without a thorough PPI by a well-known shop close to that dealer. And even before that, get the VIN so you can look up the known history (or ask them for a carfax if they're willing).

Driver's seat worn badly for a 2015. This car looks like a rebuild. wrong tailgate. Aftermarket wheels. I would run away and find a car on a Mercedes dealer lot or at least from another Lux brand dealer.

It’s going to be a 3rd party warranty so read that thing beginning to end and then upside down while doing a handstand in front of a mirror.
Personally speaking I’m never comfortable buying a make from a non-make dealership. I could be talking out of my rectum but I don’t think Caddy techs know how to properly inspect and repair/maintain an MB if this were a trade in. If they bought at auction then there’s a whole other list of questions there.
I’d contact the MBUSA dealer and make them an offer for $60k. You never know, if you finance through MB maybe they’ll bite. And if it’s a car you love, don’t squabble over a few thousand bucks, better to get what you want and scrimp on other things for a while versus forever regretting letting “the one” get away.
