What obd2 adapter are you using? I'm using a kiwi3 and the results don't seem to be as small-time-stepped as I'd hope. If I'm lucky, full throttle results in 3rd gear might be every 600 rpm or so. Or is that what is expected?

I'm sometimes seeing literally 3 rows in the output for a 3rd gear pull ... 3400rpm, 4600rpm, 5750rpm. That doesn't seem like nearly enough data to be comfortable with what is going on.

try a wifi OBD adapter. and then play with the settings to make communication faster.
