Downpipe compatabiltys E63 vs E550 4matic

Alright so i got a guy selling a set of MBH downpipes that came off his 14' E63 and i have a 14' E550 4matic , would the downpipes he is selling work for me or are the flanges a different size . I see how some company's list them separate and some list them together just trying to confirm before going for it .

i have not but from what Iv been reading is that both bridge pipes that go to the turbo from the m278(E550) and the m157 (e63) are the same exact part numbers so they should both be the same in terms of downpipes .

Everything I've read is contrary to that. I have MBH E550 Specific Downpipes and was told the E63 pipes would not work as they were larger flanges, unfortunately I cannot corroborate that though...

Turbo side is compatible; resonator connections are different. Support mounting points in between are also different.

this seems likely. Makes sense. so, yes, they'll physically fit, but may not have the proper attachment points. damn, if I had known that, i'd have bought the cheaper ones, seeing as I had to cut off the ends to install the x-pipe anyway...oh well...it's only money, right?!?

nota_amg, how did you get 700hp?
I have a 2012 E550 4matic and looking to get the stage 2 tune and should give me 600hp according to DME Tuning without any engine modification But I'd like to get more HP. Can you give me some advice?
