M157 Oil Level - A little experiment
How to check the oil level per MB
1: Oil level on a cold engine
2: Oil level by idling until the coolant reached 82 C
3: Oil level at/near operating temp
Oil level was checked about 30 seconds after turning off the ignition.
Oil change was performed 1500 miles ago.

this engine i swear to the most bipolar for checking oil level...
Mine via the wis document, shows low oil, operating temp shows middle ( sometimes full) , and sitting cold, well over high.
on my friends car, to get from low to full, took almost 2 quarts, yet wis document says its 1 quart from low to full.
My recent procedure has been, operating temp and let sit for 15 mins..
