Engine mounts

Hey my car has 50 k on it just did tune and dp within a week my driver side mount is broken lol. Just curious to anyone else that has had this issue. OEM replacement or eastcoast euro?

I think that that they must have been on the way out since I have been giving the car lots of hits well before the DP when it was just a tune. Any info is appreciated thanks.

I replaced mine with OEM at around 50K as well - all three
I'm 35K in on my second set, with about 50 launches under its belt.
The drivers side mount takes the worst beating.

You change the trans mount yet? Track launches beat mine up.

Totally normal. My mounts were replaced by warranty at only 38K. Fortunately my ELW goes through 1/22 so I will likely be having them done again under warranty. That ELW was the best investment I may have ever made!

I meet with the owner of eastcoasteuro today since he is local and he makes some solid mounts.Should me how to assemble them and the quality of them vs OEM. He just came out with a newer version for our cars I am going to be one of the testers. I will do a separate post with my review of them once I get them on the car

@thabigo22 means they are well built when he says "he makes some solid mounts". They are poly and billet, so not an actual solid mount. Just wanted to clarify.

Yes, i plan to go with the street density version -- they seems to be a reasonable choice for enhanced durability wile retaining some smoothness. They are serviceable, so you can always buy the higher durometer poly inserts to swap in should the need arise.

Are you doing engine and trans mounts? I spoke to him too about testing then out but I've just had to lay out for new brakes and tyres.

Just engine mounts; I suspect the OEM trans mount will be fine without excessive engine movement, and ECE does not offer a poly mount for the 722.9. How are the R888s working out for you?

Just checked my messages they are doing a trans mount to test. Unless they've decided against it this was in January I spoke to them.

Not got them yet but I swapped some other rear wheels I bought with Michelin PS2's on them and they get so much more traction than the pirelli. I will never buy pirelli again.

How did the Dyno go?

I'm not sure -- he said they were thinking about it when we asked last night.

Nice, cant wait to see some improved tires now with more traction! Definitely sounds like the Pirelli didn't work out so well.

The Dyno went well, good starting point. I sent Jerry the logs and he is tweaking it.
