2014 E63 AMG
Engine Start Button?
Hello,

I have a 2014 E63 AMG that I just got. Love it. But one thing confuses me. I have seen internet pictures of 2014 E63s with an Engine Start and Stop button next to the steering wheel. My does not have one and requires a key. I read somewhere that it pulls off it the battery in the key is dead and then you use the key to start. So the question I have, should I have said Engine start and stop button? Or is it a package that I am missing?

The "button" is just a cover that you can pull straight out. If your car came w/o it, likely they "forgot to give it to you" when you purchased your car.

Easy $12 fix on Amazon. However, the expected delivery date was May!

The fun associated with an economic shutdown due to quarantines, stay at home orders, etc.

I had bought a red one from Ebay for like 22 bucks. A family member liked it more than I did and well I am back to stock. lol
