Help with purchase of E63s AMG (2014, 2015, 2016)
Hello guys my name is Allvano I live in UK and I’m new to the forum and am seeking advice with my new purchase.
Having owned a standard 2014 E63 For a year and I half I sold it last year and ever since I have been sort of regretting and wanting to buy another this time I am in the market for a E63S.
my question is what are the difference between E63S AMG facelifts from 2014, 2015 & 2016. UK right hand drive models.
apart from the newer command system. Is there anything better in later models in build quality or technology?
having owned a 2014 E63 I was hit in the front, by a runaway driver whilst parked on road over night not having found the responsible party I had to fix it my self In a Mercedes approved shop and I remember the technician telling me I was lucky I owned a 2014 model as if it was a later model of the w212 the damage would have been worse As the newer cars were design to absorb more impact due to EU collision Regulation... how true is this?

European forum members are probably in a better position to advise you. In the U.S. market, the most notable difference in the MY14+ W212 E63 is the first-ever and standard 4MATIC and newer gen COMMAND. In the European market, it seems that Mercedes-AMG has kept both RWD and 4MATIC. Other changes are by and large cosmetic. I doubt anyone can claim better or worse AMG build quality.
