Straight Pipes

Straight Pipes
I have a W212 E63 S and I want to straight pipe it from the cat back, wondering if anyone knows of any brands that make a good catback exhaust or if I need to get pipes custom fabricated. Either one works for me, I have people that can fab up some pipes, just not sure if that is recommended or not.

I deleted my cats, also replaced my resonator with H pipe. It sounds amazing.
I wouldn’t go full Straight as you will have cabin drone.
mine is nice and quiet when cruising but anything over 2500 and it’s LOUD
inside noise when pushing the car with sunroof open
Notice on the start up video how quiet it gets after the idle settles
pulling away Full throttle

You can find similar options for like 400 less.
i did get a tune and the cel was removed for no cats with the tune. No smells at all, just beautiful turbo noise

I was running the catless pipes and had the monitors turned on and did not get any codes. I was just re-tuned last week, I'm not sure if the monitors are still on or not. I can throw the scanner on it and see if monitors are "complete" or "not-ready" and post back here. I might be able to do it during lunch, if not, it'll be tomorrow.
I've heard people having good luck with the "O2 Extenders", but I'm not even sure if we need them or not.

Anyone interested in the RSEs should contact Shardul. There is a thread on here where he says he gets them at a better price. I was looking at those myself (Just can't justify spending $ on a car I dun drive as of right now). They look nice and there are options for Cats, super high flow cats and also heat shielding.

Thanks again for your reply. As I just posted. I have been looking at Downpipes and been feeling ambivalent about the expenditure... also about the potential CEL and other associated headaches that come with car tuning (What's the point of doing downpipes with Cats however ultramegahyperflow they may be?). Thanks again for the info. Glad to know there are tunes that can turn off CEL (As all tunes should. Instead of having to resort to spacers)
