That is a neat mounting idea. If it could allow attaching Blendmounts’ hardware, the possibilities would be endless My only concern now would be if I adjust the mirror, the detector goes with it, and there can be no easy roll or yaw adjustments

bend it.... tis only thin sheet metal...

but I would take that idea and stiffen up and have some sort of mount for the blend or similar.

Also I am thinking of sticking it onto portion covering those windshield components since well wife doesn't adjust that when she drives.
