TCU tune, brake-boost, drag radials...but there is no "safe" launching this way...lol

If you don't have TCU tune, best technique I found was just 'flashing the converter'* to leave at the highest rpm possible. 2.0-2.1 were normal 60' times without TCU tune for me. 1.7's now on 285 street tires and I have traction issues pretty bad(all 4 tires spin). 1.5's with TCU tune and radials are being seen in the AMG cars. I saw recently that there is a higher-speed stall converter available for the 7-speed now, so that is another option. I would assume you would need a TCU tune to be able to take full advantage of it.

Are you modded or tuned?

*: Instead of running the revs up and holding the car "up on the converter", you can "flash" it, by mashing the gas and releasing the brakes at the same time. The converter will "flash" at an rpm normally higher than it's rated stall speed. The amount of "flash" is dependant on several factors, but that's a basic explanation.

Stage 2 upd intake lifters with k&n filters.

my wheels spin and the esp cuts traction hard. Like a toyota not a RR.

I was hoping to get this reduced in a tune but my tuner says they dont.

Turn off ESP. What tires are you running and in what size?

255/40?/18 front 285/35?/18 rear pilot as3+

last time i turned off esp on the tune. I got the shakes. Had to do sparks a coil and run stock for like 1k miles. So i guess ill start driving esp off slow and build up to it. Maybe it had nothing to do with it. But a bit nervous.

Can you code these cars yourself? I’ve been toying with the idea of trying.

yeah, if you leave ESP on, you're gonna have issues. It will spin and not cut out when ESP is off, to a certain point, if you spin bad enough, it will cut throttle, happened to me the other day when it was in low 60's. Hit so hard I thought ESP was back on, but I spun BAD... I run 245/35r19 ad 285/30r19 Kumho Ecsta PS91. Your issue may be your tires. Stage 2 ain't no joke, those all-seasons may just not be up to the task, unfortunately. You're gonna need an Ultra High Performance Summer tire.

No, I do not code. I use EuroCharged here in Austin TX.
