Best way to launch?
If you don't have TCU tune, best technique I found was just 'flashing the converter'* to leave at the highest rpm possible. 2.0-2.1 were normal 60' times without TCU tune for me. 1.7's now on 285 street tires and I have traction issues pretty bad(all 4 tires spin). 1.5's with TCU tune and radials are being seen in the AMG cars. I saw recently that there is a higher-speed stall converter available for the 7-speed now, so that is another option. I would assume you would need a TCU tune to be able to take full advantage of it.
Are you modded or tuned?
*: Instead of running the revs up and holding the car "up on the converter", you can "flash" it, by mashing the gas and releasing the brakes at the same time. The converter will "flash" at an rpm normally higher than it's rated stall speed. The amount of "flash" is dependant on several factors, but that's a basic explanation.

my wheels spin and the esp cuts traction hard. Like a toyota not a RR.
I was hoping to get this reduced in a tune but my tuner says they dont.
last time i turned off esp on the tune. I got the shakes. Had to do sparks a coil and run stock for like 1k miles. So i guess ill start driving esp off slow and build up to it. Maybe it had nothing to do with it. But a bit nervous.
Can you code these cars yourself? I’ve been toying with the idea of trying.
No, I do not code. I use EuroCharged here in Austin TX.
