Just want to start with a big thank you to the guys at GAD Motors for the opportunity to come see the shop and to take their time to show me around. I was always so curious about them especially since they don't have products in America, and their cars make so much power and do great work!
GAD motors in Germany, if you do not know, have been known for putting out the fastest and most badass Mercedes and AMG's on the planet. Their cars go from mild tune only to full built engines making over 1,000HP! I have been watching videos of their cars breaking records and beating super cars for years on youtube and on this very forum. So it was an amazing pleasure and excitement of mine to go to visit their shop in Germany.
Arriving at the shop you see some aggressive looking AMG's lined up outside, you know you are at the right place. Taking a tour of the shop, there is some amazing cars and projects going on. You see things like an C63 black series that had a big turbo M157 engine with 4matic in it, and it is being upgraded to a modified M177 with 4matic+!
And if you think that is wild, there were even crazier projects like a Mercedes-Benz V-class van, getting a M177 AMG engine and drivetrain in it for their own enjoyment and project! Normal things here at GAD motors lol!
You really get the sense of the professionalism with how everything is organized, clean, well laid out and just how the whole atmosphere gives you the mood of absolute real enthusiasts doing what they love, producing amazing products for customers.
That passion can be seen directly from the owner himself, who personally showed me the shop and had lengthy discussions with me about current projects. You can really see the love he has for the work he does, and the high quality work he produces. This is something that I really enjoyed seeing. This passion spreads within the shop and can be seen in all the techs there aswell, truly real car guys! Seeing the projects and products in person, the amount of research and development they put into their products is extremely impressive. Everything they do is so well thought-out and the effort involved in all the details they cover is really astonishing.
It is a small tight family unit, and I think this is what makes GAD such an amazing shop, that creates high quality, fantastic products that show results above many in the AMG tuning world.
I am glad I had the chance to visit them after being a fan of their work for so long. I am happy to have been to a shop with such passion for what they do, and created a lifestyle in a shop around precision work, and high quality for the cars we all love.
