This may be an odd question but I am wondering if I can perform normal repairs on my E63S that I purchased under the CPO program? I have replaced my brakes on all of my previous AMG's in the past and I feel that $6k for replacing Rotors and Pads is a little crazy. I do not want to void my CPO extended warranty as I paid for several years.

If you replace your pads and rotors and that act damages another part of the vehicle, it could invalidate that damaged part. But replacing the brakes does not in of itself invalidate any part of the warranty. As long as you follow the Service Manual and abide by the fine print you should be fine.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
You would need to show that an ASE certified mechanic replaced the parts if there was a big warranty claim ... and with rotors and pads that's UNLIKELY

CPO terms and conditions differ by market. Even different US states have nuances. In general, for the USA market, there is NO legal/contractual requirement to perform the maintenance at a specific provider or the dealer. As long as maintenance is performed at designated intervals as listed in the Maintenance Booklet (a.k.a., Service Booklet) by qualified provider and to MB specs (i.e., approved fluids, lubricants, OE parts), then the contract is valid on the covered components. This is different for repairs (to be reimbursable). Here is what CPO covers on Clause # 15 Brake System:

- Brake Operating Unit including BOU sensors,
- Vacuum pump,
- Hydraulic unit (ABS or ABS/ETS/ASR/ESP/SBS),
- Wheel speed sensor,
- Brake calipers,
- Proportioning valve,
- Metal and composite hydraulic lines and fittings.
.
- Cleaning and polishing,
- Lubrication and filter changes as specified,
- Engine tune-up,
- Wiper blades,
- Replacement of worn brake pads and discs.
.
- Repairs covered under Mercedes-Benz Warranties must be performed at any authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealership.
- Maintenance service as recommended in your vehicle’s Service Booklet can be performed by any qualified service outlet. However, we recommend that all maintenance service work be performed by your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. Authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealerships have the trained personnel, tools, diagnostic instruments, and service reference literature necessary to perform the recommended maintenance correctly and systematically.
