9.6 seems exactly where u should be...you can try to get better times by starting at 45 and putting it in the correct gear. You will have less chance of heat soak since it's a shorter run. My 60-130 times were always slower during a 1/4 run. Hope this helps

yeah, I know it'll be faster if I do it right, but I'm not able to make runs right now as I believe I might have a turbo going out. I'll be pulling the air pipes this week and inspecting the turbos...hopefully everything is alright, but I have a feeling it might be time for a rebuild/replacement.

The 8.1 run obviously has a spike, but the 8.23 does not and is a very good run for 93 octane & stock turbos. Did you do a 1/4 pass in similar DA?

Maybe...honestly, I can pull the front housing and cartridge out of the manifold without having to pull the motor out(one of the benefits of the M278) and have them both rebuilt for less than $1k. In these troubling times, I feel the need to not spend unnecessary money so I've given it serious thought. Upgrading, even with just used M157 Turbos/manifolds and having them rebuilt, would be ~$5k, if I did the work myself. But, the car wouldn't make any more power, so that seems like a waste. I feel that extra money would be better spent on a custom built meth system and more custom tuning, along with some new stickier tires. So, for less money, I can go faster! Makes sense to me...

I was able to get a few more runs in.
bone stock 2014 e63s
I think all my 60ft times are always 1.9 no matter what
again 3.66/3.45s 0-60/1ft times valid
1/4 was 11.63@122.39 again, valid
I did my first 60-130 times, all from a stop: 9.73 9.82 and best was 9.61 If anyone is referencing this thread still for stock times
On another note, Im using torque pro for logging and i dont thing i saw more than 11psi? is this the app or is that stock?

Nice.

Looking forward to seeing how my 15 E63s does with the Dragy.

Hope it is running strong. What altitude are you running at?

We are at 2200 feet.

I literally set it on top of the cup holder cover and then roll back the cover until it kind of holds the draggy in place near the back of the cover lol. Works awesome

Mine just wedges in my cup holder when I lay it in there going across. Doesn't move.

i set mine in the dash hole, right in front of the Navi screen. Seems there is a metal panel under there it holds onto with no issues.

ok, something is not right here...I run the 1/4 0.5 seconds faster than Juice1979(11.3 vs 11.8), but he's faster 60-130 by almost 1.5 seconds???

what gives? I know I don't make THAT much more torque...I gotta try this 60-130 again...

the 11.8 was on my old cls63 with a custom tune and it was only rwd. My 60ft on those 1/4 miles runs was 2.0 that's why the bad ETs. The trap speeds were almost 126mph

What do you guys think how much M278 powered car can gain on TCU tune on 0-60mph and 1/4mile times?

0.5 second on mine, so at least 0.3, possibly 0.4 on an otherwise stock car

Okey, I did Dragy yesterday and my best 0-60mph time was 3,85s without TCU tune with my +2005kg/4420lbs weighing shooting brake.

its a killer trying to get the RWD to hook, very similar to mine.

just realised the 1/4 time was stage 1 and the 60-130 is stage 2

If you are chasing faster times and better performance past 4k RPM highly recommend switching to blackboost, there is a difference in feel, hearing, and Draggys no doubt.

I agree, I installed a custom homemade intake similar to the blackboost setup. On a stock car I was able to get my best 0-60 and 1/4 ET and trap speed with it installed. This is without any tuning and in worse DA
