Whirring noise on Drivers Side engine - M156
Hey all,
I noticed this once I started to pull my car out of storage for the winter; I'm hearing a whirring noise from the drivers side (left) front of the engine. This only occurs when the engine is hot, and the sound goes away with even a slight RPM (100 rpm) increase. This noise isn't present when the car is first started, and steering input doesn't have any affect on the sound.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what it could be, normally idler noise just gets louder with RPM increase, and power steering pump noise would change with steering input. I'm currently unable to diagnose this because the car is still in storage, but I figured I'd ask to see if anyone has had this issue as well. Car is a MY11 E63 AMG with the M156, 51k miles on the ODO. I've included a link to a video below and also included it as an attached file.
Thanks!
