E63 wagon in Boston
This one just popped up, and I'm thinking of checking it out.
Pre-Owned 2014 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG S 4MATIC at Herb Chambers BMW of Boston | Serving Cambridge, Brookline, Burlington, MA, and Somerville. | VIN: WDDHH7GB8EA977888
Anyone familiar with this one? The price on these wagons have gone a little crazy but it seems like $60K is the norm for these nowadays.
Thanks,
BK

Looks well optioned, you got B&O sound, the optional wheels, it's hard to tell for sure, but I don't think it has dystronic plus? That's kind of a big negative. I'm not sure why somebody would opt for the $6,000 audio system and not put on distronic lol.
Pictures are not great, but I didn't really see any dings, maybe some curbage on the wheels. Not sure if they use salt up there but check underneath.
Go check it out, good luck
Edit, ya, no distronic... Quite odd. https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/check-lookup/WDDHH7GB8EA977888

Have not seen this car in person, but looks OK. Maybe not the most exciting color combo, but a lot better than black over black!
BTW - to OP - looking at your profile it looks as if you had a 2016 wagon before? If so, the older Command will feel like a big step back for you. And no way to get Apple or Android to work. May want to focus on the 2016 cars......

Anytime I buy a car I study the heck out of pictures. Sometimes I see things that aren't there, sometimes I see legit issues. Going through the pics one thing that caught my eye and it absolutely could be lighting or a weird dark spot in lighting, but the passenger rear door paint looks funky to me. It appears to be a hair darker than the rear quarter and front door. Silver repainted cars always stand out because it’s so easy to tell when a panel has been repainted. I’d look into that. As already mentioned I see curb rash. Besides that looks ok based on the pictures. No distronic would be a deal breaker for me personally. Nice to see B&O, pano, 360 cam, rear shades etc, but like Kenney said how did they spec it like that but not get distronic?!
Just my opinion, but I couldn’t spent 65+ grand on a 7+ year old car with cosmetic damage, missing a key option such as distronic, from the NE so you know it’s been exposed to road salt, and lastly, if I were spending 65+ it better has crazy low miles. These wagons are not as rare as people claim, there is literally always atleast one on BaT, always usually several on the used car sites, just be willing to travel to get the right one. 👍🏼

So I got to take a look at the car earlier today. Now, the car just got there so it has not been detailed, and it showed.
The interior in particular looked worn to me, even for a 50k mile car. My daily is M3 with more mileage and its interior looks brand new in comparison.
What's surprising to me was how much the seat belts (silver) looked worn, even in the rear. I find that pretty unusual.
Mechanically, the car drove fine, sounded great (perhaps louder than other ones- resonator delete?). Throttle response felt a bit sharper than my previous car, could be a tune or sprintbooster.
In summary, nice driving car but the interior needs a lot of work.

While the dealer had several AMG's this was the best one. My feeling from the dealer is that I would have a 3rd party do a thorough PPI. Definitely worth the cost for an inspection.
Just my 2 cents...
