Good afternoon all! I am currently in the market for a 2015-16 e63 amg and had a question about Apple CarPlay. I know if has been beat to death but i am seeing conflicting information. This website https://mbenzcoder.com/ states that a 2015 built after 03/2015 is capable of upgrading to Apple Carplay with their OBD2 adapter. Is this true? And does anyone have experience with this company?

I just use my phone for Navi and use the cars bt for everything else
I was interested in this as well for my 15 CLS. I sent them a message a year ago. The website said
“CLS-Class C218 production 07.2014+ (COMAND only SA531) E-Class W212/C207 production 03.2015+ (COMAND only SA531)”
The response I got to this was just a link to the OBD updater. So I said screw it. I think the dealership wanted like $350 to install it. I think they would change out the usb in your armrest and update the SW/FW
BTW I tried reaching out them like 3+ times thru that chat they have til I finally got a response back. So if you do have problems, it might be tough to get a hold of them. I don’t know their return policy either.
Also I think you need the usb with those symbols in your car already.
