Tire Feedback Needed

Due to the shortage of Michelins, I'm stuck between these two tire choices:
Continental Extreme Contact Sport
Michelin Pilot Super Sport

I've had the Michelins on a different car, but they're a pretty old tire now. The Michelins come in a Mercedes spec (M0) size. Because of the difference in the age of the two tire designs, there are no Tire Rack tests between both of these. I'm really wondering whether the Benz spec tires are worth getting or not.

Any experience here with these two tires? Don't tell me get PS4S, because they're continually back ordered.

255/35/19 and 295/30/19 Michelin PS4S are in stock on Tire Rack right now. 295s are a better diameter match and better looking tire for the rear anyway - I'd say most owners on this forum run 295s without any problems on the rear.

I have 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 on mine, again with no problems.

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but any rec's for the best all season ? may just get a separate dedicated winter set but on the fence. Wish ps4 or pss' could be ran in the winter ha

Narrowed down to either pilot sport a/s 3+ or conti. dws 06's . Has anything revised these yet

There is an updated Conti DWS 06 Plus which is supposed to have improved snow performance.

As for Michelin they have a new performance all season, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 (A/S 4) not to be confused with the PS4S. I put a set on my RX-7 for the off chance of needing to take it to and from a garage in the winter. Having only driven it in the summer, the traction, and performance on the edge is impressive. Have not pushed it hard enough to see how close it is to the PS4S, but it is an impressive tire. Definitely not meant for track duty but would consider it as an all season (not a track tire).

For best all-season, it's gotta be the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S4. I had the A/S 3+ on my old car and that was a fantastic choice. Yes, you do give up some dry grip, but the wet grip was great, the tire worked even in 20 degree temps, and it could get through light snow without any issues.

Thanks for the suggestion- I never thought of going that size.

I'm running 295 and 255 because of stock shortages
I wanted 265 up front but oh well, 255 actually matches the 295 rear diameter even better then the stock sizes.

If it was me I'd do PS4S in 295 or 305 with 265 or 255 - whatever is in stock. I'd not settle for a lesser tire. I love my PS4S. They slay. Came from the Conti's - no comparison.

I'm running Michelin AS3+ on the stock wheels. Super happy with those as all arounders. But I do want to buy a set of aftermarket wheels that I can run a dedicated summer tire on. PS4S is high on the list for those (or PSS in your case), but I wouldn't be opposed to something more aggressive than that (RE-11/71 for example).
