Long story short I have been using a pressure washer & foam gun to wash the car lately. Just happened to notice while cleaning the trunk right after a wash that there was some minor soapy water weeping into the upper trunk on one side. Started to look closer & found it while it was still active.
It was weeping from the bottom of the quarter panel vent on one side. Side note vehicle was never hit nor any body work has been done . Has anyone else ran into this ? Haven't found a whole lot searching . May run a thin bead of silicone or equivalent around the new one. Assuming these seals wear over time & don't seal as tightly as they used to , and the pressure washer direct agitates it. Pic attached of vent for reference . I am going to do both sides to play it safe.

Update there is a revised part # for these, so maybe they changed something . Ordered both as they are under 20 ea. if anyone runs into this . Looks like the tabs weren't holding as tightly as they should on one side.
These vents are behind the trims in the quarter panels . Can see it with the fist aid kit removed on the passenger side . Left side has the airmatic tank blocking it some ..
