Air Suspension Fault

I have a 2014 E63 Wagon and over the past couple of months I’ve been getting an Air Suspension Malfunction message on the dash. Had the car scanned and the following error codes were logged:

C155
61C
The compressed air sensor for system
pressure has a malfunction.The voltage
value is outside the permissible range.

C156
A00
The time for filling the compressed air
reservoir was not attained.

C156
COO
System "Compressed air distribution" is
leaky.

There is no leak that I can detect, I even left the car without staring it for 5 weeks and the rear end did not drop at all.

Any ideas what could be the issue? Thanks so much!

Hey Ilko,
I had some issues with airmatic last year. Some idiot didn't put the plastic cover back on the rear over the compressor and it was all rusted out.
I did have to replace my front left sensor and the air valve block in the back (not sure that was an issue) but the real problem was the leaky/faulty compressort.
You can get a WABCO one which is OEM but not through mercedes -- it's 4 bolts, a couple of wire couplers and a air hose... really simple replacement.

The compressor cost me around $400 - I did it myself in 45 minutes -- dealership quoted me $2600.
Been driving it 16 months no issues..

So check the compressor ...

Btw, I'm driving a 2016 E63 AMGs but I'm sure it has a similar setup.

Thanks Alan! I'll do some more digging and see if the software I use can detect a compressor leak before tearing up into it.

I don't think software will (Alutel is really good btw and worth the investment) - what you'll usually get is a malfunction code that says something like took too long to finish .. but it won't tell you where the leak is.
Given what you said - that you don't lose air in the suspension my suspicion is on the valve block (super cheap - also 4 bolts) or the compressor... I would inflate it and maybe use the soapy water on the valve block first before tearing into the compressor.
