How come nobody is spraying?!
I just realized I've never seen a thread on nitrous.
Cooling effect
More power
Anyone doing it?! Is it for some reason too difficult on this platform with fueling and direct inject?
Wet kits explode the intakes?
What gives?
Why not?

Maybe because the engine is expensive and the reward isn't worth it..

I thought about it a while back, just to get me into the 10's, but decided against it. If installed and tuned(on a Dyno, by a competent tuner) properly, it would be very effective.
The biggest issue would be the transmission as the extreme increase of torque form the N2O is likely to destroy your output shaft of you do any launches(with AWD).
I was looking into a wet kit with an auxiliary fuel system(2.5 gallon tank in trunk, just to feed the nitrous system) as the stock pumps cannot provide enough fuel for the extra nitrous.
Also, motors for these cars are expensive, so no one wants to be the first to try it out! 😂

back in 2016 a friend was spraying a 200 shot ( progessive wet + c16 ) on a ML63.. nozzle after the TB. pain to switch jets. stock tune no cats.
mind you this is at 5200ft.. absolute pressure is lower.
I was tempted for a while, could even help with carbon cleaning the intake ports on the heads.
