e63 Hood Won't Open
Hey guys, I'm driving a 2011 W212 E63 and I can't get my hood to open. The red latch doesn't pop up the hood like it used to and hood seems jammed (I shut the hood pretty hard last time). I finagled with the hood a bit by pressing down on it while the latch was pulled and the left side seemed to pop up but the right is still jammed very tight. From taking a peak under the vehicle, there's no way for me to see/reach the Latch mechanism from under my car. I admit I'm a bit of a newbie with DIY repairs but does this have to go to a shop to get the hood up? Are there any possible fixes I should try before having my mechanic take a shot at it?
