I went to to buy the factory recommended Limited Slip 75W-140 Full Synthetic Gear Oil https://amzn.to/3PVe6Ac but its out of stock everywhere for several months. not sure if they aren't making it anymore or what.
Does it just need to be API GL-5 or are their other requirements for the limited slip?

I believe as long as it's limited slip and the correct weight that is all you need.
I used the Liqui Moly in my '14 E63s:

All the videos I found indicating that for LSD both wheels spin same direction, for Non-LSD wheels spin opposite direction. My wheels spin only one at a time. Spin one, the other stay still. Does it also mean that I have Non-LSD? I can't seem to find any video/article supports this.
I found a few of the 0.5l castrol from the dealer from ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/175037966160 pn 001 989 52 0310

Going to pickup up some rear diff. fluid over the weekend . My dealer said the plugs dont have any gaskets. What type of ptfe or sealant can be used on the rear diff. drain plugs ? saw the GM pipe sealant with ptfe mentioned at one point .. Two 0.5Liter bottles covers it correct

I personally didn't use any thread sealant as the threads are tapered to create a seal without the need for a crush washer or sealant. I have no leaks. You're welcome to use sealant if you prefer, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

Same here, I've never used sealant on any of my rear diffs, it won't leak once you get it tightened.
I'd recommend picking up a bottle pump too, clearance is tight back there for the taller bottles that have a squeeze tube (which you may need to cut off to fit the pump) but it saves your hands a workout.
