M156 with Longtube Headers: Keep resonator or delete?

M156 with Longtube Headers: Keep resonator or delete?

Have a set of longtube headers and off road X pipe sitting in the box waiting for install on my 2010 E63. This will boviously remove all of the cats. I am wondering if I keep the stock resonator as well, or delete and weld in some straight pipe. Anyone have any sound clips or advice? Can't wait to hear how this thing sounds!

This would probably be more appropriate. I think this guy's M156 sounds amazing.

W211 E63

I had LT and stock mufflers only. I removed everything else and added a X pipe. KNN and OE Tuned I made 486.

Thats what i'm thinking. Any drone at highway cruising speeds or other regrets?

BTW that was on my W211 63

The best sound. The cold start sounded my GT500. Piping was SS 2.75. The system was from Kleemann. You might have lower cabin levels cause I think the W212 might have better insulation/noise reducing quality over a W211.
Remember if you need to pass inspection you will have a CEL the tuner can turn the light off but you will fail inspection. My work around was to install V band and a pair of 200 cel Cats and a test pipe.After two years I stop removing the cats just was not worth the effort. Also I had a freind with a W211 same setup but the pulley kit and no difference was seen with that kit.
