I did search, can not seem to find a place to get my missing logo. Of course the "Steal-er-ship" tells me I need the entire engine cover....

Working on a couple of other things since I got the vehicle. Had to order a fuel door insert (the hinge is broken). Thankfully no paint work is needed for that. For some odd reason the sunroof does not function, the cover does. Going to take a special day before I take down the assembly to get the the 4mm that manually opens and closes the glass. Plus, need front brakes...so, on the look out for a good price on rotors (if a good price exists).
There are several threads on this forum covering brakes with a variety of options.
Does the sunroof motor sound like it is trying to open the roof? If not, perhaps a fuse or relay.
I would try salvage yards or ebay. It is the same cover for all M157 engines, so they are out there. Good luck.

90% sure it is going to be a limit switch on the roof. I am betting it does not know the shade is out of the way...that is one of the things that I know if I get into it...four days later the part arrives and I can put it back together....I at least have some references. May just take the engine star off of one of the other cars.
Try to find something like this and if the plastic studs don't line up with the existing holes just RTV it on. My OEM one had snapped studs and RTV has been fine.
I saw that one with a Google Search...was not clear about the dimensions (heck, nor have I measured the space on the engine cover for that matter). I am 90% sure the cover is not even on the engine on my C240...if it fits....not sure why I did not think of that before.
I lost mine also. I have bought 4 or 5 different emblems and none of fit them the cover. It is a unique sizing, so a junkyard search it is, but not feeling optimistic. The carbon fiber covers sell for @ $500, so so no one is going to sell an emblem off one most likely.
