Catless DP and O2 simulators

Asking for a friend, has any one fooled the O2 sensors to fix the CEL if cats removed. He would like to track his E63s but concerned about the CEL?

I am going to try the spacers this weekend, Just installed Black Boost catless DP's . Spacers are arriving today.
I won't be able to put any actual miles on it for a bit as I'm waiting for Backordered Tires to ship.

I was debating trying these on the E63, since I think the main issue is not oxygen detecting, it's they don't heat up on the E63 when they're in extenders
