Identify this wing?

A buddy of mine recently purchased an E63s and is looking to add a rear wing. He found this picture of one he really likes, but has no idea who the manufacturer of this wing is. Anyone have any thoughts?

If i had to guess - it is likely a universal wing from Ebay or Alibaba.

Could try contacting the dealer who has or had that car to see if they know - https://www.toybarncars.com/

yep.. it'll come with flame decals and ride or die window stickers .. win win

that's not likely an amg, benz or w212 specific wing ... I would just shop online vendors with wings and email them this pic and see what they can do to help you out

Example:

Good deal. I'll let him know. Just to clarify, this isn't for my car. I have an AMG GTS, not an E63. I actually just ordered a DarwinPro wing for mine on Monday. I just told my buddy I'd post this on the E63 forum to see if anyone had any ideas. And I thought it might be a common Mercedes aftermarket wing because I saw a picture of an almost identical one on an AMG GT on that forum. The poster over there never answered when I asked for the make of his, so I made a thread over here.

Pedestal type wings are more common on the AMG GT line - they were offered from the factory that way and the aftermarket mimics that - the E63 never came with a pedestal wing and it isnt very common to see them with one. The E63 aftermarket wings tend to be more inline with the standard E63 design or Renntech and Brabus styles.

Uhhh, it's a wing, wings add lift which makes the car lighter... Lighter car makes it faster!

Where do you sign up? Well pretty much anywhere in the world that embraces personal property rights and freedom of expression. Why do you give a damn what someone else wants to do with THEIR car?

They can do what they want, I can be free to think they are ignorant for causing more harm than good for a plethora of reasons. But, to each their own....

I have been in the game for a long, LONG time (before Fast and Furious was even imagined)...only after that were the spoilers a thing. To that, 90%+ of spoilers are non-functional and slow the car down (why the hell does someone want to slow down a car made to go fast????). They will drill improper holes and improperly secure them (seen many spoiler fly off at tracks in years...heck late 90's and early 2000's it was sport to collect them at Road America). At that point they are a danger to the rest of us.

But, your buddy can do what he wants...hell, he can get a face tattoo as well...then wonder why he cant find a job.....we all have our choices to make in life and eventually we all have our cross to bear.
